  Update, since the tech stated the compressor was shot, my husband figured he would try to see what was wrong since he could not hurt it worse. He took the connection off the compressor and cleaned it. He plugged in the refrigerator and it works like a champ. If you had recent service and got bad news from Johns appliances, please get a second opinion. IF you need service, I can not suggest this company. I paid 59.00 for a service call to be told the compressor was bad to find that it was just a bad connection. The tech should have checked this while testing the compressor.
